German Village Stickers
I lived in Germany for five years and fell in love with my small villages called albersbach—the charming houses, beauitful farmland, local bakeries, and the people who made it feel like home. Whenever family came to visit, they fell in love with it too. There was something about the character of each village that stayed with you long after you left, and many of them wanted a way to remember their trip.
I began to notice a pattern: Americans would rotate in and out of these villages every three to five years, and almost everyone formed a deep connection to the place they lived. But there wasn’t anything they could take with them—no real keepsake that captured their specific village.
What stood out to me most was that every village already had its own identity. As you drive in, you’re greeted by a sign featuring a unique crest, most of the time it was made of stone.
I decided to draw my village’s crest and turn it into a holographic sticker to give to visiting family. Soon, friends started asking for their villages, then more Americans heard about it—and eventually even locals wanted one of their own.
Before I knew it, my hand was hurting from drawing so many crests, but it never felt like work. It gave me a reason to explore new villages, track down each unique crest, and turn it into a small little keepsake that people could take with them wherever they went.

Please note: These designs were not created by me—they already existed, and their original designer and date of creation are unknown.
I drew them and created a fun colorful style and turned them into holographic stickers.
